After careful consideration and based on the growing outbreak of the coronavirus in the U.S., we postponed our National Conference African American Librarians XI Conference (NCAAL XI).
The Virtual Summit does not takes place on the dates of the originally scheduled NCAAL XI Conference. Our goal is to provide a virtual experience that enables attendees to participate in a live streaming, multi-track virtual conference. If time doesn’t permit participation May 15-16, content from the entire activity will be available to members on a learning platform. The Black Caucus American Library Association focus is to bring quality programming by way of insightful Librarians, Authors and presenters.
This summit is the first of its kind for our illustrious organization. We embrace the challenges and the new virtual reality it brings to our profession.
The BCALA 2020 Virtual Summit will be a full conference experience. BCALA recognizes and greatly appreciates the hard work and dedication the program committee and the Executive Board put into developing the summit .
The Virtual Summit is free for all.
